1. Oversees the activities of assigned personnel to ensure timely completion of individual and team responsibilities.

2. Establishes and implements plans, instructions, procedures and work process improvements to ensure the safe, timely and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements.

3. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of milestone and performance reports to satisfy project information requirements.

4. Ensures Logistics service provider services are acquired in accordance with Corporate Procurement policies and procedures.

5. Provides cost, transportability, service, and terms and conditions analysis as requested to assist with project proposals, materials/equipment purchases, and the selection of Logistics service providers.

6. Represents Logistics at supplier/contractor kickoff meetings to review supplier/contractor delivery and Logistics requirements contained in purchase and contract documents.

7. Prepares and presents Logistics service provider bid tabs, commitment authorizations, and contract documents for approval by project and or client management.

8. Negotiates Logistics service provider agreements to maximise company's commercial and technical interests.

9. Develops Logistics costs, manhour requirements and reports for project or functional budget formation and management.

10. Prepares Logistics studies including site and service provider facility visits.
11. Oversees Logistics service provider performance to ensure services are
carried out as contracted for and to ensure that project requirements are satisfied.

12. Conducts annual performance reviews and assists with development plans for assigned personnel.

13. Ensures safety requirements and measures are integrated into all Logistics activities.

1. Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent work experience 15-20 years’ experience in the project freight forwarding and/or logistics industries Previous extensive experience either with an international freight forwarding company or major EPC contracting entity Understanding of the overall Procurement function and Logistics responsibilities within that process Current knowledge of Logistics service provider pricing, services, operations and terms and conditions Company cargo insurance requirements and their integration into goods purchase orders and Logistics service provider agreements Industry packing, marking, and shipping requirements and their application to company purchased equipment Formalities and processes for importing and exporting globally Trade and delivery terms and export credit agency requirements Elements of cost and resource requirements for preparation and management of Logistics budgets Arranging for movement of over-dimensional, over-weight or hazardous materials/equipment via all modes of transportation Project Logistics execution plans and procedures Supervisory methods and techniques to maximise team and individual performance and ensuring employee satisfactioN

We are seeking qualified personnel with experience in the power industry to be part our team that will design and manage the construction of two greenfield 1,600 MW gas-turbine power plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Purpose



The PDS Administrator manages all related activities of the PDS server and the PDS database on the project. The PDS Administrator ensures that all of the PDS software components have been customized and/or enhanced and have been properly integrated according to the needs of the project as defined in the Project Procedures Manual. The PDS Administrator is actively involved during the projects PDS definition, implementation and closeout stages.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Create and maintain the Oracle names to the project schemas.

· Manage the project PDS setup and customization activities.

· Load and maintain the engineering specification database and libraries on the PDS project in coordination with the RDB Administrator.

· Define and document the name and the IP address for each PDS workstation (if required).

· Install the PDS software and related software on each PDS workstation.

· Administrate the PDS Network System security.

· Ensure that the appropriate quantities of PDS licenses are available for the project.

· Schedule and validate all PDS and Oracle archival.

· Create the project printing and plotting queues.

· Administer PDS user’s accounts.

· Recover files as requested by the project.

· Responsible for all PDS and CAD software.

Electrical Raceways
Equipment (all disciplines)
Clash detection (IFC)
Smart Plant Review

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent technical diploma

· 5 years of engineering or design experience

· 5+ years of application support experience
